"Strive for peace with all, and strive to be holy, for without holiness, no one will see the LORD.

(After this long invitation to live by faith, the author intends to deal with more practical matters. In fact, he immediately returns to the exceptional gift that is faith in CHRIST. He reminds his readers of what they experienced in baptism when they received the gifts of the Spirit.)
