Melchizedek Brought Bread And Wine

Hello! and happy holy and family day to all of us, GUYS.  For our first-thing-first this Sunday:

THE GOOD NEWS (29 May 2016)
"Then Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought bread and wine; he was a priest of GOD Most High, and he blessed Abram saying, 'Blessed be Abram by GOD Most High, maker of heaven and earth!  And blessed be GOD Most High who has delivered your enemies into your hands!'
And Abram gave HIM a tenth of everything." - Genesis 14:18-20
Melchizedek And Abram (Abraham)
(Melchizedek brought bread and wine.  What a strange person Melchizedek is!  In Israel, kings were not priests nor did they offer bread and wine in their sacrifices.  But Psalm 110 and then the letter to the Hebrews [5:6 and chapter 7] see Melchizedek as a figure of CHRIST, the only Priest.  Abraham, despite his greatness, only prepared for the coming of the one who would obtain the blessing promised by GOD for all nations.  Here CHRIST is foretold in a veiled form as the priest and king who consecrates the bread and the wine.)
